A. Rose is a visual artist based in Pennsylvania. Working primarily with staged photography and print, she positions herself as subject, director, and author.
Drawing from cinematic framing, vintage print culture, and personal archives, Rose constructs intimate tableaux that evoke ritual and private life.
Alongside her independent practice, Rose collaborates with lingerie, fragrance, jewelry, and fashion brands to produce editorial imagery that merges commercial storytelling with her distinctive visual language.
Her recent zine series, BAZOOMS, a limited-edition fanzine featuring archival images of Rose in multiple personas, functioning as both a personal archive and tribute to vintage erotica.
She exhibits nationally in juried and invitational exhibitions, including Nude Nite (2024 & 2026) a Florida-based exhibition, and the Portland, Oregon-based exhibition Undressed.
Her collaborators include Monique Morin Lingerie, Jouissance Parfums, Nolan Simon (artist), Catbird NYC, Ellis Jaz, Ancient Future Jewelry, Larva Jewelry, and others.
Her photographic works have been translated into paintings by other artists and exhibited internationally.
